Official guide for Sound By Sound Slowly. Learn setup, daily usage, feature flow, and troubleshooting.

Quick Start

Open https://app.soundbysoundslowly.com/.
Create an account on the auth page or log in.
Go to Learning, enter a word/sentence, click Generate.
Press Start Practice, record your voice, then stop.
Review score, IPA, highlights, and improvement tips.

Change UI language from the Settings page in the app.

Feature Overview

1) Pronunciation Learning

Generate IPA (and Pinyin/Jyutping for Chinese), then compare your speech with AI guidance.

2) Real-time Evaluation

Get pronunciation score breakdown (accuracy, fluency, completeness, prosody when available).

3) AI Coach

Ask follow-up questions directly in the Learning page chat area.

4) Lip Sync Visualization

Visual mouth-shape guidance for clearer imitation and practice.

5) Progress Tracking

Daily sign-in and calendar-style practice tracking.

Authentication and Admin

Users can sign up with username, email, password, and optional subscription.
Email format and duplication are validated before account creation.
Admin can access /admin.html to view and manage user records.

Troubleshooting

If page content looks stale, hard refresh once (Cmd+Shift+R).
If microphone cannot start, allow browser mic permission and retry.
If Azure scoring is unavailable, app fallback guidance still works.
If login fails unexpectedly, clear browser storage for the app domain and log in again.
